Barlow, William, Swallow St, London, carver (1745–51). Worked for William Kent at 44 Berkeley Sq. in 1745, and with James Richards at Henry Pelham's house in Arlington St. His ‘Kentian’ friezes with foliages, festoons, shells and flowers cost 48s each.

Beaumont, William, 144 High St, Hull, Yorks., cm (1793). Advertised in Hull Packet, 1793, as a maker of tablets, friezes and chimney pieces.

Francis, H., address unrecorded. In December 1839 he supplied to Buckingham Palace ‘4 new Spanish mahogany sideboards, carved & gilt’ costing £150; and carried out alterations to six others for £130.

French, J., Weaverham, Cheshire, clockcase maker. The gilt inscription ‘J. French, Cabinet Maker, Weaverham, Cheshire’ has been recorded on the hood-frieze of at least six long-case clocks by Richards of Weaverham.

Gates, William, St Martin's Lane, London, cm (1774–after 1800). William Gates was a cm who specialized in fine inlay and engraved woodwork.

Gillingtons, —, address unknown (c. 1815). Regency brass inlaid rosewood sofa table, rectangalar top, and two drawers in frieze on four turned supports and sabre legs, sold at Sotheby's, 12 January 1979, lot 218, bears the stamp ‘GILLINGTONS 3009’.
