He was paid by Gillows in June 1773 and again in January and July 1774. He was listed in their Petty Ledgers for 1769-77. In 1769 he bought a snap table from Gillows for £1 5s 0d; he paid for it with his labour by packing their goods. He made mahogany chair backs in 1773 and part of a desk.
