Willson (1790-1800)

Willson

London; upholder, cabinet maker, appraiser and undertaker (fl. c. 1790-1800)

A trade card in the Johnson Collection, Bodleian library, gives an address at 9 Jewin Street, Aldersgate.

Heal records a later trade card giving an address at 20 Aldersgate Street, nearly opposite the Church, and indicates that he had moved from Jewin Street. He sold keyboard instruments and dealt in coal. Engravings used to illustrate the trade card are of an elegant cabinet chamber organ, a secretaire bookcase, a Pembroke table, a bed and a chair.
