White, John

Preston, Lancashire; upholsterer (fl.1732–42)

A freeman of Preston and recorded paying poor rates in 1732.

 In 1740 he bound an apprentice named Amery. 

In 1742 his son Henry was also made free of Preston as was his brother Henry, a sea captain [Harris Museum, Regulation of poor tax; Society of Genealogists apprentice index; Preston Guild records].
