Wells, William (1766)

Wells, William, Deansgate, Manchester, cm (d. by 1766). Dead by April 1766 when his stock in trade was disposed of at his shop at ‘The Rose & Crown’, Deansgate. On offer were ‘Dining Tables, Falling Tables, Chests of Drawers of different Sizes, Mahogany, Walnut and Oak Chairs of different Patterns, a Clock in a Mahogany Case, Corner Cupboards, &c.’.
