Webber, John

London; cabinet maker (c.1781–1794)

Apprenticed to George Seddon snr. in 1774 and lived with him.

Became a member of the Joiners’ Company. In November 1794 he bound as apprentice George Cottle and John Ball, the son of a victualler from Rotherhithe in November 1794.  The premiums were £5 5s and £15 respectively and both apprentices lived with Webber [Guildhall Library, Joiners’ Company bindings, vol. 7, p. 190; vol. 8, p. 10].
