The accounts of Nathaniel Ryder, 1st Lord Harrowby of Sandon Hall, Staffordshire record the payment on 14 July 1777 to ‘Ward Cabt Maker’ of £17 10s for an inlaid table. This commission may have been supplied through this James Ward [Harrowby MS Trust, Notebooks].
