By 1747 Wallin was trading in the parish of St Barnard, Paul's Wharf and a member of the Haberdashers’ Company. His son Richard jnr was apprenticed to Charles Grange 6 August 1747 and made free of the Upholders’ Company, 5 September 1754. [Guildhall Library, Upholders’ Company records].
