London; upholsterer, cabinet and chair maker (fl.1817-45)

Walkington was recorded at both 214 and/or 215 High Holborn (1817-23). This was a substantial business with insurance cover of £2,000 in May 1823; of which £1,600 was for utensils and stock [The London Archives (TLA), Sun MS vol. 497, ref. 1005212].

Possibly the same Robert Walkington (or a relative) at 2 Charlotte Street, Fitzroy Square (1835-1837) and at 45 Rathbone Place, Oxford Street in the 1845 London Post Office Directory.
