Wainwright, John, Liverpool, cm and victualler (1781–1807). At 3 Lawton St in 1781 but from 1790 all the addresses are in Liver St. The number was 17 in 1790 and 1800, 16 in 1800– 05 and 61 in 1807. In July 1790 he insured his dwelling house for £100. Married a Mrs Edmundson at St Peter's Church in January 1797. Possibly the John Wainwright who subscribed to Sheraton's Cabinet Dictionary, 1803.
