Recorded at 32 Charlotte Street, Great Eastern Street in an 1883 advertisement for his ash, pine & japanned bedroom & kitchen furniture which also stated that Tweed’s firm was formerly Coates & Co. [The Furniture Gazette, 6 October 1883].

Tweed moved from Charlotte Street to 10 Motley Street, Curtain Road, where he held a large selection of japanned bedroom and kitchen furniture, a speciality being the ‘Victoria’ and ‘Lonsdale’ bedroom suites [The Furniture Gazette, 14 June 1884].

He was listed at 10 Motley Street, Curtain Road, in The Furniture Gazette: Classified List of the Furniture, Upholstery, and Allied Trades (1886).
