Thomas, John Isaac

Llandysul, Cardiganshire, Wales; furniture makers (fl.c.1890-1900)

The Thomas family were reputedly prolific furniture makers in this region, producing a relatively standardized range of presses and other furniture in traditional forms (illus. Bebb (2007), fig. 1195). John Isaac Thomas (fl.1899) was still remembered in the late 20th century.
