Thomas, Frances, Halesowen, Salop, cm (c.1810–c.1830). Trading at Pekingham St, c.1830. Metal label of ‘F. THOMAS — CABINET MAKER — HALESOWEN’, recorded on a brass-inlaid mahogany armchair, c.1810, with upholstered seat, originally of black horsehair, rectangular back with horizontal splat surmounted by pierced squat vase between two scrolls; scrolling arms, and turned front legs.
