Tat(t)nall, John, London, upholder (1707–40). Recorded at Ironmonger Lane, Cheapside, 1711–40. Admitted freeman of the Upholders’ Co. on 26 January 1707/08, and master in 1735. Took app. named Edward Good in 1723. Took out Hand in Hand Insurance policies on 7 April 1711 for £400 on a house in Ironmonger Lane, ‘3rd house southwards from Church Alley’, and £100 on a house in Barkers [?] Lane, St Giles-in-the-Fields; on 4 July 1718 for £400 on his house in Ironmonger Lane; and on 3 June 1720 for £100 on a house in Parcess [?] Lane, St Giles.
