Tarry, George (1704-37)

Tarry, George, London, upholder (1704–37). Recorded ‘at the Golden Ball in… Lyon Mkt. near White Cross St. in the parish of St. Giles Without Cripplegate’ in 1713. Admitted freeman of the Upholders’ Co. on 7 March 1704/05. Took apps named William Milward, 1722–30, and Henry Sandwell, 1730–37. Took out a Sun Insurance policy on 12 February 1713 on his goods.
