Symonds was made free in 1818 and by 1832  was living at Prospect Terrace, Hereford [Hereford Freemen rolls; poll book].

He was at 5 Hollen Street, Wardour Street, Soho, London in 1826, described as a Freeman of Hereford [Hereford poll book].
