Syers, John (1786-89)
Syers, John, Spring Gdns, Manchester, carver and gilder (1786–89). Supplied picture frames to Dunham Massey, Cheshire, 1786–89. On 17 November 1786 an octagonal gilt picture frame was supplied at a cost of £1 12s 3d and on 11 October 1788 Syers was paid £4 14s 6d for framing pictures.
