Snook, Robert snr, High East St, Dorchester, Dorset, u (1725– d.1747). In May 1725 insured his goods and merchandise for £500. Had six sons and a daughter. His eldest son Samuel traded as an u in the town, the second eldest, Joshua, took up the law; and Robert, the next eldest, also became an u in Dorchester.
