London; looking-glass manufacturer, print seller, carver and gilder (fl.1800–30)
In partnership with Robert Scholey (1800 -c.1810) at 69 Sun Street, Bishopsgate. Recorded alone as a carver & gilder and looking glass manufacturer at this address and 98 Holborn Hill (1808-30).
In April 1809 Snell purchased insurance of £500 on his premises of which £250 was for utensils and stock. On the same day he also insured 69 Sun Street for £450 with £350 for utensils and stock.
