Smith, Richard, address unknown, cm and frame maker (1738–41). Undertook commissions for Stoneleigh, Warks. for the Dowager Lady Leigh. On 31 December 1738 a large picture frame, a tea chest and a pillar and claw table in mahogany were supplied at a combined cost of £1 16s. Twenty nine polished frames, a large carved frame and two long tables were supplied in 1739 costing £4 14s 2d.
