Skerrett, Joseph snr, Nantwich, Cheshire, u (1742–d.1756). Six sons and three daughters bapt. between 1742–56. Several of the children died in infancy and the eldest surviving son, Joseph jnr, bapt. 1 May 1745, was to follow his father in the same trade in Nantwich.
