Dublin, Ireland; glazier and print seller (fl.1739-d.1765?)

The son of Gabriel Silcock, made Freeman of the City of Dublin as a Glazier by Birth, Christmas 1739.

Recorded at the sign of the Fan and Crown, opposite the Tholsel, St Nicholas Street, 1743-59; at the sign of the Royal Fan, Skinners Row, 1759-65.

Faulkner’s Dublin Journal, 11-14 December 1762: ‘Marriage: Mr. Thomas Silcock, an eminent Printseller, to Mrs. Polly King of the said place’.

He was succeeded at the Skinner’s Row address by Ann Silcock, who was perhaps his second wife.
