Saer, John

Carmarthen, Wales; carpenter (fl. 1424)

John Saer, together with Ieuan ap Llewelyn Saer, was paid to fit floorboards, doors and stairs at Carmarthen Castle in 1424. John Saer also spent six days sawing planks from timber taken from the Towy valley to make 10 pairs of bedboards, spending another six days in making them. In 1428 Saer worked with Ieuan Griffith Saer making rails to hang tapestries.
