Rothwell, Thomas Walmesley

Lancaster, Lancashire and London; cabinet maker (fl.1824-30)

The son of John Rothwell, artist of Lancaster, he was apprenticed to Leonard Redmayne to serve from 29 July 1824. His name was written on one of the sofas ordered by the fifth Earl Fitzwilliam for the Whistlejacket Room, Wentworth Woodhouse, South Yorkshire, from the London shop in the early 1830s.
