Rosenthal & Co. exhibited at the Furniture Exhibition at the Agricultural Hall, 1882 [The Furniture Gazette, 13 May 1882].
On 15 December 1882 a fire broke out in the firm’s four-floor building at 21 Cardington Street, the roof was destroyed and the premises completely burnt out. The fire then spread to Maple & Co.’s three-floor building which met the same fate.
Walkling recorded the firm at 7 St John Street, Bethnal Green as bamboo furniture manufacturer.
