Restall, Frederick; Restall & Livingstone

Birmingham, Warwickshire and Manchester, Lancashire; wholesale cabinet maker and church decorator and furniture manufacturer and upholsterer (fl.1884-1891)

Restall was initially in partnership with W. H. Hilton, as Hilton & Restall at 41 Great Hampton Street.

Hilton & Restall was dissolved in 1884 and the retail business continued by Hilton and the cabinet manufacturing by Restall [The Furniture Gazette, 14 June & 26 July 1884] 

Restall was listed at 134 ½ Great Charles Street, Birmingham in The Furniture Gazette: Classified List of the Furniture, Upholstery, and Allied Trades (1886).

It was probably the same Restall in partnership with Mr Livingstone, upholsterers and cabinet makers. Restall & Livingstone were working from Market Buildings, Thomas Street, Manchester [The Furniture Gazette, 1 March 1886]. The partnership advertised in theSupplement toThe Furniture Gazette, 15 January 1891.
