Ready, John

London; cabinet maker & broker (fl.1781-93)

Ready was recorded as a cabinet maker and broker next to the ‘Ship & Mermaid’, Snowfield, when he purchased a Sun Insurance policy in 1781 for £200, utensils, stock and goods accounting for £130 [The London Archives (TLA), Sun MS vol. 289, p. 273].

Possibly the same John Ready, a cabinet maker at 1 Cullum Street, Fenchurch Street, 1790–93.
