London; upholsterer (fl.1780-82)

Listed as an upholsterer at New Road, Whitechapel Road, when he insured his house for £100 in 1780 [The London Archives (TLA), Sun MS vol. 282, p. 603]. 

Possibly the same James Rawlinson (also described as an upholsterer) at 120 Rosemary Lane, Whitechapel, who purchased Sun Insurance policies in 1780 for £100, £50 accounting for utensils, stock and goods; and in 1782 for £300, £200 on utensils and stock [The London Archives (TLA), Sun MS vol. 284, p. 264; vol. 303, p. 92].
