Ramsey, Peter, Bishop's Stortford, Herts., upholder, shopkeeper and dealer in plate (1778). Took out a Sun Insurance policy in 1778 for £2,300 including £850 on utensils and stock. [GL, Sun MS vol. 267, p. 171]
