Pursseveill, J. R.

5 Lime Street, Leadenhall Street, London; frame maker, carver and gilder (fl. 1781–82)

He claimed to have been apprenticed to John Overlove who traded at ‘The Golden Key’, 36 Leadenhall Street as a frame maker and gilder, 1775–82.

Pursseveill's trade card held in the Guildhall Library, London, states that he framed ‘Prints, Drawings & Needle-work’.
