Pointon, William & William jnr.

Shifnal, Shropshire; cabinet makers (fl.1840-79)

William Pointon was in High Street, Shifnal (1840). 

His son, William jnr. was also a cabinet maker. In 1879 he was at the Fighting Cocks Inn, Oakengates, Shifnal, recorded in connection with a bill of sale (i.e. security) for £70 to Thomas O. Young, filed on 14 July 1879 [The Furniture Gazette, 2 August 1879].
