Pivett, Christopher, York, carver and gilder (d.1796). Died on 8 August 1796 at the age of 93. Referred to as ‘the well known Mr. Christopher Pivett’ and the fact that his death was recorded in a Liverpool newspaper might suggest a more than local reputation, though whether this was for his workmanship or advanced age span is not known.
