Pistor, William
London; cabinet maker (fl.1681-d.1691)
Son of Thomas Pistor snr, joiner, made free of the Joiners’ Company by patrimony, 12 April 1681. Brother of Thomas Pistor jnr. In 1689 he was given permission by the Company to take a supernumerary (third) apprentice. He died in 1691 and was buried at St Nicholas, Sutton, Surrey.
Pistor wrote his will on 2 March 1692 appointing his father, Thomas snr. the executor, leaving £50 to his brother, Thomas jnr., and £100 to his niece, Elizabeth. He died soon thereafter, his will proved 26 March 1692 [PROB 11/408/472].
