Petty, Joseph

Lancaster and Manchester, Lancs.; joiner and house carpenter (app.1772)

The son William Petty of Ingleton, labourer, he was apprenticed to John Holmes & William Nicholson, joiners and house carpenters on 7 March 1772. By 1779-80 he was in Manchester. William Petty may have been his brother.
