Peters was the maker of the furniture for the last three rooms in the Apartment of the Hereditary Princes, Palazzo Reale, Genoa, 1841-42. These were the Bed Chamber of Maria Adelaide of Habsburg-Lorraine, the Study and the Bathroom. The commission included a secretaire cabinet made of oak with Canadian maple veneer and rosewood crossbanding in the Study. In 1843 for the Audience Chamber he supplied 24 armchairs, a sofa and 8 stools to the designs of Giacomo Varese which were upholstered and bore the monogram of the patron, Charles Albert, King of Sardinia.
