Listed in 1871 Post Office Directory at 25 Charlotte Street, Fitzroy Square, London and in The Furniture Gazette: Classified List of the Furniture, Upholstery, and Allied Trades (1886) at Highfields works, Bilton, Staffordshire with London offices c/o Charles Maslen, 11 Dyer’s Buildings, Holborn, London. 

Thomas Perry & Son registered the company as Thomas Perry & Son (Ltd) to manufacture bedsteads, safes etc.  The new company had a working capital of £85,000 in £100 shares and Mr. James Smith was appointed the managing director at a salary of £250 p.a. [The Furniture Gazette, 1 May 1886].
