Penrith, John jnr (1786-98)
Penrith, John jnr, East end of Sunderland, Co. Durham, cm (1786–98). On the death of his father John Penrith snr took over his business in partnership with Richard Simpson of Sunderland, who was described as a joiner and cm. They advertised themselves as joiners, cm and house carpenters. Amongst the stock taken over from the late John Penrith snr were tables, chairs, glasses, bedsteads and bureaus.
