Liverpool, Lancashire; cabinet maker (1780–1835)

Apprenticed to Thomas Dobb and free by servitude on 11 September 1780.

Recorded at 8 Church Alley, St Peters (1790); by 1794 had moved to 23 Atherton Street. At 48 Lord Street (1803); 14 Basnett Street with a shop at 2 Benn's Garden (1805); 12 Trueman Street (1818); and 9 Tenterden Street (1835).

His apprentices were Richard Seddon Tate (1787–96); William Brown (1792–1802); James Browless (1797–1812); and Charles Hinton McCormack (1805–12) [Freemen register; Freemen's committee books].
