Pallin, Elias (1795-1831)

Pallin, Elias

Bristol; cabinet maker (fl.1795-1831)

Pallin was working as a cabinet maker in Peter Street (1795). From 1799–1801 he was shown at ‘The Rose & Crown’, Narrow Plain, but there is no evidence that he carried on his trade as cabinet making from there.

A man of the same name who was perhaps his son, Elias (b.1797-d.1849), was listed as cabinet maker, upholsterer, appraiser and furniture maker (1818-31) at 6 Merchant Street (1819-19); and nos 5 and 6 (1820–31).
