Bristol & Brighton, Sussex; chair maker (fl.1820-41)

Recorded at 9 Lower Castle Street, Bristol (1820). 

Possibly the same James Offord in Brighton, Sussex, 1830–37. 

Listed at Spring Street (1830–32); Jubilee Street (1835); and 1 Mulberry Square (1837). Two daughters were baptised, 1830–35, and a son, James, was married in 1837 [Public record baptisms and marriages]. 

He was listed in Brighton as a sixty-year-old chair maker in the 1841 census.
