Oakley, Thomas

Oakley, Thomas, Hatter St, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, cm (early 19th century). Licensed to set apart a room in his house for the meeting of protestant dissenters. Possibly the Thomas Watts Oakley born in Halstead, Essex who moved to Bury St Edmunds and married Elizabeth Holland and was later ‘called to the Baptist Ministry’. [V.B.
