At Gt Turnstile, Holborn in 1738 when his bankruptcy was announced. His trade was described as cabinet maker, milliner and chapman [Read's Weekly Journal, 1 July 1738].

Once more bankrupt in 1746 when his address was given as ‘St. Giles-in-the-Fields’ [Gents Magazine, April 1746].

In 1749 at Red Lion Court [Westminster poll book].
