Newitt, Samuel; Nevett, Samuel (1761-1833)

Newitt, Samuel; Nevett, Samuel

Liverpool, Lancashire; cabinet maker (fl.1761–1833)

Newitt was made free on 9 February 1761 [freemen register].

Probably the Samuel Nevett recorded as a cabinet maker at 122 Dale Street (1766–77); and at Richmond Street (1787).

His apprentice Robert Fairclough petitioned for freedom in 1780 [freemen's committee book].

Probably the Samuel Nevett, who died in 1833.
