Naylor, William (1780)
Naylor, William
Liverpool, Lancs.; cabinet maker (fl.1780)
He ordered a wardrobe in 1780 from Richard Gillow who charged him ready money price, a concession he offered to tradesmen who intended to ‘sell again' so needed to make a profit themselves. The same man ordered ten handsome mahogany chairs with carved and moulded dog leg splats plus two similar armed chairs. See also William Naylor, Lancaster, who was perhaps the same man.
