Recorded at Back Street, Horsleydown, Southwark when he purchased a Sun Insurance policies in 1777 for £500, £380 accounting for utensils and stock; and in 1780 for £200, £70 on utensils and stock [The London Archives (TLA), Sun MS vol. 256, p. 150; vol. 283, p. 175]. 

A cabinet maker of the same name was at 104 Barnaby Street, London when purchasing a Sun Insurance policy in 1780 for £200, £100 on utensils and stock [The London Archives (TLA), Sun MS vol. 285, p. 114].
