Murray, Charles Fairfax

London; artist, decorator of furniture (fl. 1873-78)

Murray was a supplier of painted panels to the firm of art furniture makers, Collinson & Lock. These panels were included on various cabinets including the Lucretia Cabinet (now at the Detroit Institute of Arts, 1985.1) and cabinet doors (now at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, 22.177.1).
