Morris, Ebenezer

Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire, Wales; cabinet maker and builder (fl.1860)

An employee of Thomas Jenkins of Llandeilo, he set up on his own and in 1860 successfully underbid his erstwhile master for the contract to build the new Savings Bank. However, the job bankrupted him; Jenkins visited him in gaol and was also made the assessment of his estate, valued at £37 15s 6d.
