Liverpool, Lancashire; upholder, upholstererer (fl.1815–39)

Moreton was indentured as an apprenticed to the upholder, George Philander Lyon (1815). He petitioned for freedom by servitude in 1822 but his application was rejected because his indentures were antedated. [Liverpool freemen's committee book].

Possibly the Thomas Morton, upholsterer who was trading at 41 Rose Place (1835); 2 Seacombe Lane, Belle Street (1837); and no. 3 (1839).
