Moore, Albert (fl.1870-1871)

Moore, Albert

Address not stated; artist, decorator of furniture, furniture designer (fl. 1870-71)

Baseden Butt, Good Furniture (1928), stated that Moore was the decorator of a cabinet, made by Collinson & Lock, which was shown at the London International Exhibition, 1871. This attribution may refer to the cabinet, V&A (MISC.127:1-9-1921), the decoration of which is now believed to the work of Harry Ellis Wooldridge or to another cabinet of the same date.

Moore is known to have designed an ebony serving table for Frederick Lehmann's house, designed by George Aitchison in 1872.
