Son of Thomas Money, a gentleman of Kempstone, Bedfordshire. He was apprenticed to Daniel Woodroffe on 10 May 1707 and admitted freeman of the Upholders’ Co. by servitude on 3 July 1723. 

Money bound an apprentice named John Price, 1726–35/36 [Guildhall Library, Upholders’ Company archive].
